HAMDAN started with a simple observation: a lot of businesses were stuck using clunky, outdated tools for work that should be simple. Invoicing was the clearest example — freelancers and agencies losing time to spreadsheets, half-compliant PDFs, and manual GST calculations, just to get paid for work they'd already done.

Start with one real problem

Rather than building a broad platform that tries to do everything, we picked one problem — invoicing — and built something focused enough to actually fix it. InvoicePilot handles GST-compliant invoice generation, keeps client records organized, and makes it easy to see what's paid and what isn't. Nothing more than that, done properly.

Build for how people actually work

A lot of invoicing tools are built for accountants first and everyone else second. We built InvoicePilot the other way around — for the freelancer sending their own invoices, or the small agency owner who doesn't have a finance team. That meant prioritizing simplicity and speed over configurability most people will never use.

What comes next

InvoicePilot is HAMDAN's flagship product, but not the only thing we're building. Alongside it, we take on custom software projects for businesses with specific needs, and we're expanding into new products over time — each one picked because it solves a real, specific problem, not because it's trendy.

That's the approach behind everything we ship: find a real problem, build something people actually want to use, and keep it simple enough to be worth using every day.
